The aim is to portray in model form, most of the functions of a railway that served a community, in the days before road transport took over. Myton is located a few miles down a branch off a main line. The location is fictitious but based on personal experience of post nationalisation operations.Kleine Rundfahrt is set in the Thuringia region of the former East Germany, the layout features stock from both DB and DR companies. The numerous transport museums in the area run excursions featuring preserved items
